Wesley Limes (white beard, lower left) was my great-great grandfather and he was a Civil War veteran - the 66th Regiment - Company H. His Reber Hill tombstone photograph is already on your website for Pickaway County.
His eldest son was John Limes (who married Sarah Duvall) stands directly behind him. John Limes' eldest son standing next to him is my grandfather, and his name is Winfield Scott Limes. Winfield Scott Limes' eldest son is the little boy in the lower right, Ernest Limes (Sr.). My grandfather is buried in Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain and Ernest is buried in Eastlawn Cemetery in Columbus. This photo is a companion photo I have showing a large group of relatives with Wesley seated in the middle. Wesley lived until 1916, and I'm thinking this photograph was taken around 1910, most likely in Columbus, Ohio as that is where John and Sarah Limes lived. It was a Limes family reunion probably unlike any the Limes family has known before or since this event. I am so thrilled to have these photographs sent to me by a late aunt. She sent copies of course and the originals are with her son in California.
Interestingly, Wesley and his son, John, were exactly 20 years apart to the day!
