Lucy Eve McClelland was the daughter of Ross McClelland and Eliza Myers; she was born in Steubenville, Jefferson County, Ohio on July 26, 1855. Her father was born in Pennsylvania and her mother was born in Jefferson County, Ohio. Lucy married Joseph Williams Hafford, November 21, 1876 in Columbus and had eight children, one of whom died in infancy (See Hafford Family Group Sheet). She died August 7, 1922 and is buried at Green Lawn Cemetery.
