Jacob KAME (Original surname KAHM) who was born 26 Dec 1809 in Columbia, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He came to Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio with friends in 1830. He married Sarah MILLER 22 Jan 1847 in Columbus and they had 10 children there. Jacob KAME died 14 Feb 1870 in Columbus and is buried at Green Lawn Cemetery, Section L, Lot 116. His tombstone inscription reads:

Born Sept 20, 1827
Died July 4, 1898
Buried Visalia Cem., Cal.

Born March 22, 1877
