Headley Cemetery
Jefferson Township,
Franklin County, Ohio
Gravestone Photographs
Headley Cemetery is among the earliest cemeteries in Franklin County having been established in 1810 at which time the Headleys had been in possession of the land for about five or six years. It is located on the south side of Clark State Road, east of Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road. It is maintained by the Jefferson Township Trustees. Thanks to the generosity of Jefferson Township a complete list (2012) of all burials and lot owners is now available and should be updated regularly: Headley Cemetery Records A few burials are still made in this cemetery occasionally, but it seems very nearly full. On a couple of beautiful autumn days in October 2007 we photographed all of the gravestones remaining in the cemetery. With the exception of a few stones that need to be re-photographed this is a complete inventory. When we return I hope to take rubbings of some of the more difficult to read stones. That might bring out names and dates that are illegible now.
I keep all higher resolution photos. If you find a photograph that you would like to have a larger copy of, please, contact Leona at and I'll Email the photo(s) to you.
