McDonald Cemetery (sometimes called Teter Cemetery) is surrounded by pasture/field on private property. It is owned by Union Township and is in deplorable condition. All of the original stones and even footstones are broken and/or illegible. When members of the Union County Chapter, OGS visited the cemetery in March 1983 to take readings of the stones they found about a dozen legible and an equal number of footstones. Time has not improved things and there is only one stone that is in good condition. It is a modern granite monolith with eight names of the McDonald, Teter, and Biggs families. Animals have dug holes in the cemetery and it is filled with broken tree branches, fallen leaves and brambles. We photographed what we were able to find on November 11, 2012. The eight names appearing on the granite stone are treated as if they are eight separate stones. Gravestones: (Click on the underlined name to view the gravestone photograph)
