David S. & Sarah (Lamb) Reed

David Silvers Reed was the second son (fourth child) of Thomas and Jane (Robinson) Reed.  He was born in rural Union County January 4, 1840 and died at Syracuse, Otoe County, Nebraska on December 11, 1919, aged slightly less than eighty years.  David was married in Nebraska to Mary Frances Roby by whom he had two children, a girl and a boy. This marriage ended in divorce and David married as his second wife, Sarah Lamb.  David is buried at Hopewell Church Cemetery near Syracuse, Nebraska.
