Elisha Thrasher (1789 - 1871)

Elisha Thrasher was born in Raymond, New Hampshire 22 November 1789 and died 13 June 1871 in Trenton Twp. Delaware County, Ohio. He, along with several members of his family, is buried at Sunbury Memorial Park, Sunbury.

Elisha and his wife Sarah Bean Thrasher raised nine children, two sons and seven daughters.

His property was called Suger Tree Farm, located Lot 26 Range 19. In 1834 his family came from Maine in a Oxen drawn covered wagon with six of their children; the others were born in Delaware Ohio
