Hampton Cemetery West Jefferson, Jefferson Township,
Madison County, Ohio
Gravestone Photographs
Hampton Cemetery is located on the southeast corner of Cemetery Road and Fellow Avenue in the West Jefferson Village. A historical marker (far left in photo above) tells a little of the history of the area around the cemetery. A second marker, erected during the U. S. bicentennial in 1976 gives some history of the cemetery. The cemetery is still being used and is extremely well kept, though many of the old stones have seen better days.
NOTE: I will be happy to post photos contributed by visitors to this page. Write to Leona at ; please put "Hampton Cemetery" in the subject line.
