Located on the south side of National Pike (US 40) and just west of the village of Lafayette the Deer Creek Township Cemetery has also been known as the Upper Gwynne Farm Cemetery and as the Lafayette Cemetery.  Many of Deer Creek Townships early pioneers are buried here along with more others who lived and died more recently.  Some families have buried member of two and three generations here.
