MARION STAR (Marion, OH), 18 July 2006 DELAWARE - Mabel Heinlen, 95, of Sunbury, died Monday afternoon, July 17, 2006, at the Arbors of Delaware. She was born Oct. 8, 1910, in Lancaster, to William Eckard and Mae (Edwards) Eckard. She was a homemaker and farmer who was a member of the Ashley United Methodist Church for over 65 years, Delaware County Farm Bureau, and the Kingston Grange for over 55 years. She is survived by two daughters, Mabel Kathryn (Walter) Hoffman of Marion and Mae (Huey) Collier of Delaware; four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren; brother Roy Eckard of Washington State; three sis- ters, Fannie Criswell of Prospect, Maxine Frey of Delaware, and Christine Stover of Prospect; numerous nieces; nephews; great-nieces; and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Corwin; grandson Russell Collier; three brothers, Ralph, Woodrow and Wilbert Eckard; and four sisters, Marjory Perry, Sylvia Clark, Dorothy Ramsey and Ann Gatlin. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, July 21, 2006, at the Rod- man Neeper Funeral Home, 307 E. High St., Ashley. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2006, at the Ashley United Methodist Church with Pas- tor John Ruiz officiating.
