NOTE:  This site is not affiliated with Walnut Grove Cemetery in any way.

Walnut Grove Cemetery was established in 1860, though there are many earlier burials, and it is still an active cemetery.  It is located west of High Street (Route 23) in Worthington, and is cared for jointly by the city and Sharon Township trustees.  The entrance is at Cemetery Road, one block south of Stanton Avenue (see map) just before entering the city of Columbus.  A partial reading of the gravestones was made by the Franklin County Genealogical Society in 1982; earlier readings were done by others in 1904 and in 1942-43. The photos on this page represent only a partial inventory of the cemetery; for additional information click on one of the following links:
