Formerly employed by the Oliver Farm Equipment Co., he was a member of the Maynard Ave Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Odessa, four sons, Ray, James Jr., and Robert, all of Columbus, and Edwin of Calif- ornia; two sisters, Mrs. Iva Foster, Warsaw, Ohio, and Mrs. Evelyn Green, Corvalis, Ore.; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Harry Mirise Funeral services for J. Harry Mirise, 73, former resident of Coshocton will be conducted from the Jerry Spears funeral home on West Broad Street in Columbus Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery in that city. Mr. Mirise died at his home in Columbus Monday morning following an illness of fifteen months. The deceased was born Sept 22, 1870 near Conesville, a son of Loran and Rachel Talmadge Mirise. He was mar- ried on Sept 17, 1902 to Dessie Miller of Coschocton, who survives. For many years he was a traveling salesman for a farm implement concern. In addition to the widow he is survived by four sons, Edwin of Escondido, CA., Raymond, James and Robert, all of Columbus; two sisters, Mrs. Iva Foster, Warsaw, and Mrs. Evelyn Green, Oregon; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
