Powell Methodist Cemetery, located on the north side of Refugee Road between Brice Road and Gender Road (see map), is barely inside Truro Township.  The cemetery can only be said to have "suffered the ravages of time."  Only nine stones remain and a few of those only hint at who is buried there.  Items enclosed in brackets ( [ ] ) were taken from George E. Bareis' History of Madison County (for the complete citation see below).
