Gravestone Photographs

The McKendree M. E. Cemetery is located behind the church at 3330 Cleveland Avenue, Columbus.  The earliest stone in the cemetery index is 1831; many of the stones are broken or missing.  It is maintained by the church.  All photographs taken October 6, 2001 and this is a complete photographic inventory of all remaining gravestones. We have been told that much of the cemetery was paved over when the parking lot was added behind the church.
