Little Pensylvania Cemetery
(aka London-Lancaster Cemetery)
Pleasant Township,
Franklin County, Ohio

Road leading to Little Pennsylvania Cemetery, Pleasant Twp., Franklin County, OH

Gravestone Photographs

We may never have found this picturesque little cemetery if it hadn't been for a request sent by a former Darbydale resident.  It's tucked away off London-Groveport Road in Battelle-Darby Creek Metro Park.  The cemetery is long and narrow, running up the side of a hill on the banks of Big Darby Creek.  The earliest stone recorded (at an earlier date) was 1834, and there were some that dated into the mid-1980s.

17 February 2010 -- of Omaha, NE sent six photos taken by a relative, John Alfred Schrawger (1899-1994) in 1962. They are copies of Polaroid prints and are a little faded after all these years. I have included Doug's comments with each picture. Go to Schrawger to view the photos. None of the stones were found when we photographed the cemetery in 2001 and I have learned that the remains and stones were moved to Concord Cemetery in Jackson Township. (They have not been photographed by us yet.).
