Lewis, Former Vaudeville Star, Dies In ill health for several years, Ross Milton Lewis, former well-known actor, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. V. Volk, 506 South Yale avenue, early Wednesday. Mr. Lewis started his career as an usher at the old Grand theater, later forming his own musical comedy which played at the Hartma[n] and the old Keith house on East Gay street. Later he formed the act, Ross Lewis and the Grimes sisters, fol- lowing his marriage to Miss Pauline Grimes. He is survived by his wife; three sisters, Mrs. Volk, Mrs. Sue Snyder of Put-in- Bay, and Mrs. Ray Murdock, Buckeye Lake; tow nieces and four nephews. Friends may call at the O. R. Woodyard chapel, where services will be held at 1:30 p. m. Friday. Dr. Floyd Faust of Broad Street Church of Christ, will officiate. Interment will be in Green Lawn. Transcribed by Leona L. Gustafson
